Cake Smash

What an exciting milestone in your little ones life. They are growing into their own and so full of personality at this point. From those contagious laughs to that little temper starting to shine through, there is nothing better than witnessing how much they have changed and developed.

Let us create the perfect set just for you. All of our cake smash sets are custom made in studio. We have an array of props to create just about anything. I also love to make props for a lot of my sets. Some parents love to be part of that too. There is nothing I love more than making your vision come to life, together. If you are not crafty, there is no need to worry. I have got you covered. You just tell me what you want and I will make it happen.

Not sure what you want to do? No problem. I have a bucket list with a plethora of set ideas I have been dying to create. I also have quite a lot of sets that I have already done. You are more than welcome to swing by my portfolio and look through all of my previous sets. You can find most of them in our cake smash section but you can also find some cute ideas under Birthdays | 2 and up or in our Milestones section. The possibilities are endless.

What To Bring

I provide everything needed for your session. We have puffs to snack on, towels for cleanup, wipes, hand and face wipes, hair brush/comb, hair gel, toys to get babies attention, noise makers, etc.

The only thing I ask for you to bring is a sippy cup with water or juice as well as a clean outfit to ride home in.

We do ask that you do not bring too many people along. As much as I love having everyone there to help, I have realized that too many people becomes a distraction for baby making it difficult for them to look at me. If you will not be joining baby for portraits I highly recommend you bring comfortable clothes as you will be getting your workout in putting baby back on the set after they have crawled or run off. You may also get some cake on you so maybe a change a clothes but that is rarely ever necessary.

Cake Smash | Simple | $375

Our Simple Cake Smash is just that. A simple clean look on a plain backdrop. However, it doesn't have to be completely plain. We can always add a cute banner or numbers or both. We can even add a clean simple row of balloons. Also included is a simple 5" white cake and the use of our client closet if desired. You are more than welcome to bring your own outfit if you have something you prefer to use. Most parents do provide the outfit just know we have a few options.

All of these sessions begin with simple portraits on your set before cake is introduced. That way you have beautiful images even if baby doesn't like the cake. Some Nuggets love the cake and some simply don't. I do not want you to stress or worry if baby doesn't like the cake. If by any chance they do, which is quite common, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to help.

Want a little extra? You have the option to add on a splash or milk bath in our adorable mini bath tub. Not only do our babies love to splash around, this also makes for super easy cleanup. You may also add simple portraits of baby on a plain backdrop or parent/sibling portraits on a plain backdrop.

Cake Smash | Classic | $525

Our Classic Cake smash includes a custom set in the color scheme of your choice. We have a studio full of props to bring your vision to life. Also included with your session is a small 5" cake to match your set, use of our client closet, and best of all, you receive all of the best images in a private online gallery.

Not sure what theme to do? No problem. I have a ton of previous sets that I have already done and can recreate for you. You can find these sessions in our portfolio section under Cake Smash but you can also find some super cute ideas in our Birthday | 2 and up section and our Milestone section. The best part is, since all of my sessions are custom made with real props we can tweak previous sets to your liking. I also have an extensive bucket list of themes I have been dying to create.

Our Deluxe Set has all the bells and whistles. You get everything from our classic cake smash plus a splash/milk bath session in our adorable mini tub, and simple portraits of baby on a plain backdrop.

This session begins with simple portraits on a plain backdrop for a timeless look. we then move on to our cake smash set where i will take some images of baby on your themed set before cake is introduced. That way you have beautiful images even if baby doesn't like the cake. Some Nuggets love the cake and some don't. I do not want you to stress or worry if baby doesn't like the cake. If by any chance they do not like it, which is quite common, I have a few tricks up my sleeve to make it look like they are eating their cake. Once the cake smash madness is over, I fill up my adorable mini clawfoot tub with warm water and let baby splash away. Not only do they absolutely love this part, its much easier cleanup for us. Win Win!!!!
